The Criminal Trials Division consists of six bureaus. Thousands of felony cases are prosecuted each year by Criminal Trials Division attorneys. Each bureau receives case referrals from justice courts and the numerous county grand juries.

In addition to grand jury referrals:

• Trial Bureau A
  Receives cases from Glendale, Wickenburg, Northwest, and North Valley Justice Courts.
  
  
• Trial Bureau B
  Receives cases from Tolleson, Central Phoenix, and Maryvale Justice Courts.
  
  
• Trial Bureau C
  Serving the East Valley, Trial Bureau C receives cases from East Mesa, West Mesa, North Mesa, Highland, San Tan, San Marcos, University Lakes and Kyrene Justice Courts.
  
  
• Trial Bureau D
  Receives cases from Gila Bend, East Phoenix #1, and South Phoenix Justice Courts.
  
  
• Trial Bureau E
  Receives cases from Buckeye, East Phoenix #2, Peoria, and West Phoenix Justice Courts.
  
  
• Probation Violation Bureau
  Reviews all incoming probation violation petitions. Handles other post-conviction motions (other than Rule 32 Motions for Post-Conviction Relief).
